2/17/18:  5-foot-11, 185 pound infielder has a balanced setup with slight leg kick in the box.  Level path to contact.  Line drive approach.  Maintains balance, partial use of lower half.  Defensively, has athletic movements in the outfield.  Works through the baseball with a clean transfer.  Throws topped at 85.  Funnels the baseball up the middle with smooth hands.  Quick, bouncy feet.  Throws topped at 82 across.

A two-way talent that really stood out at the event. On the mound the right-hander has a slower paced tempo with a slight pause at balance point. A tall and fall type guy with a compact delivery. Arm works well through a high-¾ slot, generating well above average arm speed. Ball comes out well with his fastball working downhill at 79-82 mph. The pitch has some late life, especially when down in the zone. Does a nice job of maintaining arm speed on his changeup, that had similar action to his fastball. Also will spin a sharp, 11/5 shaped breaking ball. Most impressively, he was able to locate all three offerings for strikes.  Also was one of the top position players in attendance, showing easy gap pop from the right side and the ability to play multiple positions at an above average clip. Davis has the look of a middle of the lineup bat and his 85 mph arm strength from the outfield was arguably the top tool at the event.
