Body: 6’4’’, 220 pounds. Big, strong, physical frame. 
Hit: LHH. Hits from a tall, slightly closed stance at the plate from the left side. Quick stride landing slightly closed to the mound and drops hands to shoulder level prior to swing initiation. Balanced swing with a strong lower half. Hands work directly to the ball and swing shows a more level plane with some uphill tendencies. Gets extension through contact with a long one-handed finish. Stays behind the ball with quick hands and fast, whippy bat speed through the zone. Middle to pull-side approach. 
Power: 95 mph exit velocity per TrackMan during BP. Present easy plus power to the pull-side. 
Arm: LH. INF - 80 mph. Throws with short arm action from a high three-quarter slot. 
Defense: Fields the ball out in front from a solid base. Clean transfer from glove to throwing hand shuffling feet underneath and gaining ground on throws to second base on double play feeds. 
Run: 7.46 60-yard time.

Delivery: Side-step wind-up and high leg kick to a slightly crouched, compact balance point. Soft kick-out stride down the mound with uphill shoulder tilt. Lands closed to the plate with some extension over the front side. Upright finish with a back leg swing. 
Arm Action: LH. Throws with a shorter arm circle from a high three-quarter slot with easy effort. 
FB: T82 mph, 78-81 mph. Average spin rate of 1949 rpm per TrackMan. 
CB: 59-62 mph. Showed both 12/6 and 1/7 shape with an average spin rate of 1603 rpm per TrackMan. 
CH: 68-70 mph.

MD Top Prospect Games East

Big, strong, physical body type and 6’3’’, 215 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance from the left side of the plate. Loads weight onto back side during load and attacks the ball with intent. Short, quick, uphill swing path with good balance and a strong lower half. Stays behind the ball well with good extension and a strong finish. Showed plus pull side power and recorded an exit velocity of 92 mph. Plays with active feet and works through the ball at first base. Throws with shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot at 76 mph. Clean exchanges and footwork on double play feeds to second base. Ran a 8.22 60-yard time.

NOVA Fall Review 9/22/18

Jenkins is 6-3 with a strong athletic frame. He hits from the left side from a balanced athletic stance, strides on line, smooth load back, good rhythm, hips rotate completely, some balance to swing. Short to ball, slightly uphill swing path with extension through the ball, strength at contact, potential to add power, sets up to pull but did a good job of using whole field, exit velocity was 87. At first, gets body behind ball and fields with a average hands. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot, infield velocity was 72. On the mound, he throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a long free arm action with normal effort. Shoulders uphill and on line, lands on line with an athletic finish. Fastball was 74-77, touching 80, with downward plane and late run to it. Curveball was 60-63 with some armspeed and gradual 12/6 break. Change-up was 68-70 with some armspeed. Cutter was 72-74 some late bite and some armspeed.
