9.11.16:  Hopkins is 5-11 and has an athletic frame and good speed with a 60 time of 6.75 and a home to first of 4.10. From the right side, athletic stance, short leg kick stride and smooth load back. Fast bat, quick to the ball with good extension through it, exit velocity of 88. Explosive hips and bat speed. From the left side, same set-up, good balance, slightly uphill path. Exit velocity of 89. In the infield, good footwork and soft, fast hands. Three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action that is quick and loose and an above average arm that was 84 across the diamond.
8.4.16 - was the Mid-Atlantic sleeper infielder from the event. Athletic actions and projectable frame. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash, loose arm that was up to 82 across the diamond. Beginning to show more strength with an exit velocity of 88 from the left side and 89 from the right. Is more comfortable hitting right handed but still shows potential from the left. Load got him of timing from the left side. Still room for growth from the prospect.
7.19.16 - 2018 Nick Hopkins had a nice workout on the day showing athleticism in the field to go along with a 6.89 60-yard dash

6.21.16 - Athletic and projectable frame at 5-foot-11, 155-pounds. Plenty of room for growth as he continues to fill out his young frame. Switch-hitting middle infielder that hits from an athletic setup at the plate from both sides. Has a simple load to hitting position from both sides and takes a direct, short path to the ball. Shows a bit more strength consistently from the right side along with quicker bat speed. Has active feet and sound actions from the infield. Clean hands and exchange while throwing from a three-quarter arm slot. Short arm action and throws have some carry on them across the diamond.
3.8.16 - 2018 Nick Hopkins looks to have added strength to his frame and is a smooth fielding infielder with switch hitting ability.
6.30.15 - Athletic frame with room to fill out at 5-foot-9 150-pounds. Switch hitter with balanced set up on both sides.  Shorter path as right and more level path as lefty.  Similar short load and stride on both sides.  Slap style hitter as a lefty and more middle gap-to-gap right handed. As he gets stronger should increase barrel control. Fluid actions in the field.  Soft hands and a quick exchange.  Active feet with a short arm action throwing from a low ¾ arm angle. Throws across the infield had velocity of 74 mph.  Highest exit velocity was 77 (RH) and ran a 4.34 home to first.
2.21.15 - Nick Hopkins is a 5-foot-8 150-pound MIF.  Hopkins shows a lot of athleticism in the field and raw ability.  He has soft hands in the field with fluid footwork and a clean exchange.  He throws from a 3/4 arm angle with a a short and quick arm action.  Across the diamond, his velocity was 73 mph.  Offensively, the switch hitting Hopkins currently shows a more developed swing from the right side.  Both ways he hits from an athletic setup with good balance in his swing.  He has a short bat path to the ball with average bat speed.  Right handed his swing is longer with above average bat speed. Left handed he is shorter to the baseball with average bat speed.  His exit velocity from the right side was 79 and from the left side he topped out at 78.  Hopkins will be an infielder to keep an eye on in the 2018 class.
