3/26/19

Updated video. Went 2-for-3 against Bel Air with a triple, a walk, an RBI and scored twice.

3/12/19

The number one ranked catcher in our 2019 class was impressive at the plate in today's scrimmage. Landwehr is physically imposing in the box and showed present power in his swing. He showed some rhythm in his set-up and used a small leg kick to create nice hand separation and timing. Stays behind the ball very well with a short uphill swing path and quick bat speed. Doubled down the left field line for an RBI and drove one out to center-field that was hit on the screws.

PBR Mid-Atlantic ProCase 2/10/18

The physicality in Landwehr is very present now, transforming his body in the past year with added strength. At the plate Landwehr has the makings of a force to be reckoned showing pull side pop and putting up one of the top exit velocities with his 98 mph. he showed some length in his swing, but the bat speed made up for it with a barrel that stayed in the zone. Behind the dish, Parker showed arm strength and a quick release with a pop as low as 1.98. As a receiver, Landwehr has made stride in his development and should continue to get better to devlop himself into an offensive power threat as a catcher but he may move to another position just simply dues to his physical frame growing out of the position.

2.12.17 - Landwehr has a wiry 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame. He runs a 7.4 60-yard dash and hits from a slightly open stance with good balance. He shows a quiet, slow load. He is short to the ball with quick bat speed and his exit velocity is 88. From the outfield, he shows an athletic approach and moves through the ball well. His arm shows carry with long actions and high ¾ release. He is 84 from the outfield. From the catching position he has a 2.04-2.14 pop throwing 75 to second. His transfer is okay with good arm action. He is a little raw receiving, but with his athleticism it's something that he can improve upon quickly with work as he continues to develop.

11.5.16 - Strong athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 185-pounds. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash. Hits from an athletic setup. Smooth load to hitting position with nice rhythm throughout. Direct path to the ball with bat speed. Gets some lower half involvement and could get more with full usage. Active feet in outfield with accurate throws from the corner. Throws have some carry on them. Quick feet and clean exchange from behind the plate. Short arm action throwing from a three-quarter slot. Pop times ranged from 2.12 - 2.21.

6.21.16 - Athletic frame at 6-foot, 170-pounds. A strong rising prospect in the 2019 class currently ranked No. 2 in the class. Shows present strength already at a young age. At the plate he showed a middle of the field approach with bat speed, driving the ball gap-to-gap in batting practice. Strong hands at the plate and should only continue to get better. The right-hand hitter also recorded an 87 mph exit velocity of the tee and pop times in the 1.98-2.10 range. Athletic stance from the crounch and with soft hands. Quick, direct, exchange from behind the plate. With short arm action and quick release. Catcher velocity of 74 mph.

11.1.15 - Projectable athletic frame at 6-foot, 170-pounds. Ran a 7.22 60-yard dash. Hits from a tall, athletic set up. Smooth load with short stride. Short bat path and slightly uphill at times with some bat speed. Quick hands get barrel on ball. Gets lower half involved with some balance. Exit velocity of 83 mph. Clean actions at first base. Short arm action throwing from a high ¾ arm angle. 74 mph infield velocity.  Receives from solid base with some hip sway. Quiet hands. Sound footwork behind the dish on throws to second. Clean exchange and short arm action from ¾ arm angle. Catcher velo of 70 mph with pop time as low as 2.07. Should continue to get better as he matures. Interesting prospect and one to follow in 2019 class.

8.11.15 - Athletic frame at 6-foot, 160-pounds. Hits from an open set up with light double tap load. High hands with some rhythm. Level path to the ball with some bat speed. Shows some extension through contact. Shows strength for young age. Good balance throughout swing with an exit velocity of 82 mph. Throws from a high ¾ arm angle with a short and quick arm action at 73 mph. Sound footwork with nice hands.  Has nice set up behind the plate. Quiet receiver. Quick footwork and clean exchange. Could continue to work on quickening exchange and release to lower pop time. His short arm action got pop time down to a 2.13. Catcher velocity was 70 mph.  Ran a 7.22 60-yard dash.
