Early

2.12.17 - From the mound Earley shows a smooth, repeatable delivery. He sinks into his back leg and creates decent tilt with his hips. He has loose arm action throwing from a ¾ arm slot with good quick arm speed and looseness. He throws pitches with regular effort. His fastball is 83-84, topping out at 85 with late, jumpy, arm side run. He throws fastballs with plus command to both sides of the plate. His change-up is 75-76 with some fade. His breaking ball shows good 10/4 shape with tight, late break.....Early has a strong, projectable build at 5-foot-11, 190-pounds. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Hits from a taller, slightly open stance with some bat waggle with his high hands beside his head. Quick load to hitting position. Shorter path to the ball with a tendency to spin off at times, getting out of balance. He has above average bat speed and shows some strength with an exit velocity of 84. He has sound actions from the outfield with above average arm strength. Deliberate during exchange to release, but shows arm strength with a longer, loose arm action with carry on his throws up to 85 mph.

11.1.15 - Athletic frame at 5-foot-10, 170-pounds. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. Hits from a balanced set up with high hands. Short load and stride. Short swing path with some bat speed. Exit velocity of 82 mph. Clean hands and exchange from the outfield. Works thru the ball. Long arm action throwing a bit uphill. Shows some arm strength at young age at 82 mph.....Controlled delivery with some rhythm.  Longer arm action throwing from a high ¾ arm angle. Lands in-line with athletic, square finish. Fastball has run and sink on it at 82 mph. Breaking ball has shape and potential with 11/ 5 action at 69 mph. Changeup has fade and downward action to it at 73 mph.

8.11.15 - Athletic frame at 5-foot-10 170-pounds. Throws from a high ¾ arm angle with a free arm action and some arm speed.  Has a controlled delivery with smooth rhythm. Pitches with regular effort, level shoulders, with a slight finish to the first base side. Fastball is straight at 82 mph. Throws a 12/6 curveball with tight spin and potential for a power pitch. Slider has 11/5 shape with gradual break. Both breaking balls ranged 67-69 mph. Changeup has near fastball arm speed at 74 mph. Very intriguing prospect in the 2019 class and will be interesting monitor development.     Hits from a balanced set up.  Short load and stride to hitting position. Level swing path with average bat speed. Has some balance in swing and shows gap-to-gap ability. Exit velocity of 80 mph. From the outfield has sound footwork and exchange.  Plays thru the ball with a short arm action throwing from a high ¾ arm angle. Throws had some carry on them at 80 mph. ran a 7.22 60-yard dash.
