Began in a tall stance with a choppy load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed was explosive, showed a flat long swing plane and level finish. Created some loud contact and found some barrels. Line drive approach. From the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 86 mph. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.58. Projectable on the mound, showed a very quick arm action and a ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses high effort. Displays in line shoulders and a tall balance point. Has an upright finish. Sat with his fastball at 82-84 mph; showed sporadic control and deceiving action with straight movement. Throws a flat curveball (64-67) that shows sweeping action and decent control. Has cutting action on his flat changeup (74-77).
