2.23.13 Adcock made an statement at the Pre-Season All-State Showcase and he solidified himself as one of the top arms in the state. Currently ranked No. 4 in the Class of 2013, Adcock lived up to his billing once again. Adcock stands at 6-foot-1, 210-pounds and has big broad shoulders. The University of Michigan recruit was electric, sitting 88-89mph the entire bullpen. His arm works extremely well and is free and easy. His fastball runs hard and late. His breaking ball shows good depth and sharp late downer bite. Overall he has feel for three quality pitches. Adcock should garner plenty of draft attention come this spring. He may not project to be a 90-94 mph lefty but his pitchability and makeup are off the charts.
Adcock is a high pitch-ability lefty from Bay City Western. Although not overpowering, Adcock is seen as a player who can spin it well and change speeds. He has bumped 91mph in the past.
