Begins in an open balanced stance with a small slow load, then uses a small controlled stride. Barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Athletic from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 85 mph; has soft hands, a quick exchange, and athletic feet. Fielded the ball to the side deep with average movement laterally. Recorded a 60 time of 7.25 at the event. Solid on the mound, used a ¾ arm angle and a short arm action while showing good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows high effort. Showed consistent balance point and even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. (Max spin 2004; Avg 1880).
