Chermside has grown to 5-foot-6, 130 pounds filling out his frame a tad since we last saw him. At the plate has a calm presence with a slight knee bend. Moves hands back, lifting his leg and swings on a level path. Produced several line drives to all fields. In the field holds hands wide while moving low to the ground towards the ball. Shows soft hands and a quick release. On the mound has a polished motion working to a waist high leg lift throwing high 3/4 uphill. Fastball sat 74-76 mph. 12/6 curve ball with late break.

5-foot-1, 100-pound athlete. Simple toe tap load with short and compact swing. Good swing plane up through the baseball. Recorded a 57 mph exit velocity. Fundamentally sound defensively while staying active with his feet. Works through the ball well with good glove actions. Arm velocity across the infield was 58 mph. Free and easy delivery. Throws from a high ¾ angle showing the ability to locate both of his pitches anywhere in the zone.
