8/5/15 - Stevenson is a 6-foot-1 170-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher.  He ran a 7.02 60 and has an exit velo of 89 mph, one of the top for the event.  Athletic set-up at the plate, smooth load, aggressive hands through extension, gap-to-gap approach, solid consistent contact during batting practice.  On the infield, 81 mph positional velo, one of the top velos for infielders, athletic, hands and feet work together, plays through the ball, loose high three-quarters release, accurate throws. On the mound, Stevenson turned a good performance displaying command and velo.  Fastball touched 87 mph, the top velo for the event, working 84-86 mph, some with late run, both sides of plate. Curveball 70-71 mph, 11-to-5 action, late movement with depth, change up, at 68 mph, late arm side sink, fastball arm speed.  Easy delivery, accelerated arm, loose arm action, stays inline, athletic off the mound, can defend position, throws with downhill tilt, three strikeouts during inning of work.

2/15/15 - Stevenson is a slim 5-foot-11 165-pound right-handed pitcher, loose/long arm action, throws with easy effort, quick arm speed, strike thrower with three pitches, fastball has late run at 83-85 mph, 11-to-5 shaped curveball, late/sharp action, 66-69 mph, change-up has sink, thrown with fastball arm speed, 73-74 mph, repeats release point, smooth rhythm, uses lower half well, athletic finish.
