Body: 6-foot, 170-pound athletic and projectable build

Hit: RHH.  At the plate starts with an open stance and athletic posture.  Hands get set tight to the ear with a 45 degree barrel angle.  Slow load into the lower half with a short leg kick stride.  Slight drift into the front leg with the lower half.  Short and compact swing with a level bat path.  Line drive approach and shows the ability to use the whole field.  Hands work quickly through the zone and shows good overall balance.

Power:  84 mph exit velocity in BP.

Arm: RH.  OF-86 mph.  Over the top arm slot with a clean arm action.

Defense: In the outfield attacks the ball with shorter steps and controlled rhythm.  Fields the ball out in front of the body with developing glove action.  Utilizes a shuffle crow hop technique with some momentum headed towards the target.

Run: 7.09 runner in the 60.

Pitts is a 5-foot-6 135-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and third baseman in Missouri’s 2024 class.  He ran a 4.88 home to first and had a 68 mph exit velocity. At the plate, simple and repeatable, square stance in lower half with pre-pitch rhythm, small and controlled load, in line stride, stays on top of lower half with balance, short the ball with hands, works gap to gap. In the outfield, short over the top arm slot, small crow hop during exchange, creates momentum with footwork, good direction, 74 mph positional velocity. On the infield, high three quarters arms lot, stays under control to the ball with footwork, plays through the ball with clean transfer, 69 mph positional velocity.
