Brice Deaton: RHP/SS, (2022) Pontotoc, MS. 6-foot-3, 205-pound projectable frame. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. Started in a tall stance with a smooth load, then used a short stride to initiate his swing. Had upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Pull side approach. While in the infield, made throws up to 74 mph; has athletic feet, consistent hands and a fluid exchange. Showed an-over-the-top slot. Clocked a time of 7.51 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, threw his fastball 82-83 mph and topped out at 83 mph. Curveball (66-68 mph), changeup (68-70 mph).
