Cason Jones: Pine Grove High School, Class of 2021; 5-foot-8, 160-pound; RHP/SS. During batting practice, the right-handed hitters best exit velocity was 82 mph. Begins in wide stance, has a quick load and uses a short stride. Bat speed is quick, exhibits an upward swing plane and a level finish. Path showed a line drive approach. Used a short arm action and a high ¾ slot. He clocked a time of 7.9 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, he threw his fastball 75-78 mph. He consistenly threw his curveball 65-68 mph with movement.
