Ethan Surowiec: SS/RHP, (2024) Gulfport, MS. 5-foot-10, 160-pound projectable frame. During batting practice, Surowiecs best exit velocity was 79 mph. Starts in an open stance with a smooth slow load, then uses a long stride just before his swing. Has upward swing plane and has good extension on his finish. In his round he found some barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 75 mph; has a clean exchange, smooth feet and soft hands. Showed consistent accuracy. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.73. On the mound, showed an over-the-top arm angle with a long arm action. Slow-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Showed consistent balance point. Curveball (66-68 mph), changeup (68-70 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 76-78 mph and topped out at 78 mph; showed running action with tight movement.
