Body: 6’1”, 170 pounds. Lanky. Frame will add strength
Defense: Average hands, funnels to belt after catch, lacks rhythm.
Arm: RH. INF - 74 mph. Medium arm action, 3/4 slot, some accuracy across the diamond.
Hit: RHH. Slightly open, relaxed setup. Smooth load, small leg lift, average stride, hands get back. Loose hands, short path to ball with barrel staying in the zone, line drive approach, middle to his pull side.
Power: 76 mph exit velocity from the tee. Above average bat control, average bat speed.
Run: 4.46 runner in the 30.
Delivery: Small rocker and controlled through balance, staying tall. Loads the backside and crouches through foot strike. Works across his line, landing with a closed front foot. Good extension
Arm Action: RH. Long, loose arm path to a 3/4 release. Good arm speed. Ease, effort and arm speed suggest stuff should continue to climb easily.
FB: T79, 77-79 mph. 2070 - 2140 rpm. Attacks the down zone with some sink. Good direction

Bellamy is 6-1 with an athletic frame, has some versatility and is athletic enough to play an effective middle infield, also has some batspeed at the plate. He stands out on the mound, where he throws from a very low three-quarters arm slot with a short free arm action and normal effort. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are level and closed, lands on line with some fall off in his finish. Fastball was 75-78 with hard late run and some depth to it as well. Slider was 63-65 with some armspeed and 10/4 break to it.
VA/DC Scout Blog
Owen is 6-1 with an athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. Throws from just above sidearm with a shorter free arm action that is quick, a touch more than normal effort. Shoulders closed and level, lands a bit open with some fall off to his finish. Fastball was 76-78 and he pounded 78 a bunch, heavy run to arm side with some depth to the pitch as well. Showed the ability to move it in an out and was around the strike zone consistently. Curveball plays as a slider because of arm slot, pitch showed outstanding potential and was thrown at 63-65 with good armspeed. Sharp, hard 10/4 break, swing and miss already, struggled with command of curve, but as that improves he will have a tough FB/SL combo to hit. Will be interesting to see how he continues to develop in the coming years.
