Body: 5-foot-11, 145 pounds. Lean, wiry build. Some twitch. High waisted. Broad shoulder with plenty of room to add significant size and strength.
Defense: OF. Athletic actions. Feet work to get him on line to his target. Corner outfielder type.
Arm: RH. 84 mph. Accurate with some carry.
Hit: RHH. Athletic, squared set up. Minimal pre pitch movement. Rotation type swing. Lives mostly to the pull side. Produced some line drives throughout his round. Power development should parallel physical gains.

Delivery: Tall, narrow set up. Mid rubber. Smooth, rhythmic delivery. Tall/tilt type. Lands on line. Some effort in his release. Finishes towards 1B side.

FB: Max 84 mph. Sat 77-83 mph. Some arm side sink and fade.
SL: 70-72 mph. 11/5 shape. Developing pitch. Flashes of late bite.

12/8/18 - DeJon Mitchell, Long-levered, 5-foot-7, 125, Mitchell has a high waisted athletic frame. With long arms and big hands, Mitchell has loose, quick arm from a high ¾ slot. Just a freshman, he posted an event best 83 Max fastball. He showed a feel for spin in a 68-69 breaking ball with occasional depth. He has limited feel for a changeup but his youthful athleticism is easily projectable. Look for Mitchell to be a factor on the mound at the next level.
