2/28/18 - 6’3/200, Junior. Struggled in his start against the Tigers, lasting only three innings while allowing eight runs on eight hits. Could have been fatigued from last weekend, an Opening Day start of 8 IP. Fastball ranged from 90-94 mph, touching 95 on a couple of occasions. Released from a 3/4 arm slot the fastball lacked life and was hit hard. His slider, which is normally an above average pitch, was flat at 81-83 mph and was repeatedly wide of the zone to his gloveside. He seemed to tip the pitch to the LSU hitters by lowering his arm slot. He also mixed in a changeup at 83. Overall, Kingham looked nothing like the potential Day 1 draft pick that he pitched like on Opening Weekend
