2/18/19
A strong 6-foot-0, 180 pounds physical frame. Ran a 7.26 60 yard dash. Offensively- Starts with an open stance and loose hands. Short load and stride to the pitcher. Quick bat path to the hitting zone with some juice. Balanced throughout the swing. Consistent hard contact during the hitting portion. Exit velocity was 76 MPH. Defensively- gets into a wide base when fielding the baseball. Under control when charging the ball. Smooth exchange and quick release on throws across the infield. Pitching- The left handed pitcher displayed a loose easy arm during the bullpen session and works with tempo. Uses a high leg lift into strong balance point and hand separation. Works downhill. Showed command of a FB (83 MPH) with late life. Sharp CB (68-69 MPH) and feel for a CH (73-74 MPH). The 2021 graduate is a must follow.
