Transferred from Catawba CC (NC) to Georgia Southern.

Whitney stands 6-foot-5 195-pounds and is the definition of projection. On the mound he uses a very high leg lift with some shoulder rotation. He uses a long, down arm action and throws form a mid/high 3/4 power slot. His fastball has recently been up to 92 mph but sits in the upper 80's. He finishes his pitches a little too high and needs to really focus on getting out over his front knee with more extension. He's recently exploded on the scene but still has a lot of fine tuning to do with that big lanky frame. He is a name to watch come this spring.
