Marist - July 25, 2017
Dusseldorp checks in at 6-foot-3, 175-pounds with a tall athletic frame. Pitching- Lefty shows fluid mechanics with loose arm action. Has good drive down the mound and on front foot strike is in a good throwing position. Repeats mechanics well with an aggressive follow through getting into a good fielding position. Shows good movement on pitches while hiding the ball well and is consistent hitting the strike zone. Fastball was 77-78 MPH and peaked at 79 MPH with sharp arm side run. Slider was 71-73 MPH with tight action that was consistent hitting the strike zone.

NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)
Lanky 6-foot-3, 175-pound left-hander with a projectable pitcher’s frame. Pitching  - Continues to work on his rhythm as he adds deception into his delivery, hides ball well on fastball with late arm-side run at 73-75 MPH that touches 76 MPH, maintains release point and motion on slider at 68-71 MPH, easy to see him adding velocity to his fastball when he fills out, tendency to land on first-base side and throw across body, direct landing spot will help keep shoulders over hips to generate more power and command.
June 7, 2017

FB: 77-79 MPH (79 MPH)
SL: 72-73 MPH
CH: 70-71 MPH

Academic Games (June 3, 2017)

6-foot-3, 175-pound left-hander with a sturdy pitcher’s build, projectable frame that projects well. Pitching- His fastball at 74-77 MPH dipped from February when he threw 78-79 MPH, but he has added deception to his delivery, may take some time for him to consistently find rhythm to return to velocity, he hides the ball well with a “herky-jerky” motion , has added pause in motion, pounds strike zone. Some tilt to slider at 72-73 MPH and arm side fade to change at same differential.
Winter Open Showcase (February 26, 2017)
6-foot-3 175 pound LHP with easy and free actions and a frame to build upon. Pitching- Observed Erik merely 6 days ago and he was impressive as he added some velocity and develop a wrinkle with Cutter/Slider. FB range actually sat a notch higher at 78-79 with some sink/run to his 2S FB at 76-77 MPH. More of a distinguished slider today with left-to-right lateral action (late) at 73-74 MPH and some late arm side fade and better differential at 72-73 MPH. Starting to show 3 pitches with command, action and differentials.
Preseason All-State (February 20, 2017)
Dusseldorp now stands a long and lean 6-foot-3 175 pounds. He ran a 7.13 60. Pitching- Works from the glove side of the rubber with a mid-chest balance point with a slight coil. Stays closed into his landing with a long arm action from a low 3/4 slot. Firm front side with with a short, re-coil finish. Arm is loose and has added significant velocity since the summer from 72 MPH in June to sitting 77-79 MPH with some cut action. Mixes in a cutter/slider at 74-75 MPH with late lateral movement. Flashed a change up at 73-74. Projectable frame with an easy arm who we'll see again.
Fall 2016

Observed in two separate bullpens over the fall; up to 75-76 MPH with a tighter action slider. Continues grow and physically mature. Delivery repeats itself.
New York State Games (June 27-29, 2016)
Dusseldorp checks in with a projectable 6-foot-3; 160 pounds with a lean lanky frame. Pitching- Quiet delivery with a Left Hand ¾ arm slot throwing across his body. Lower body could be more engaged with delivery moving towards home plate. Features a high leg raise with good arm action hiding the ball until his release point. Fastball has good movement sitting at 70-72 mph during NY Games. Change up sat 64-65 mph. Erik is still gaining velocity from previous showcases in October 2015 and January 2016. Addition of more reps and strength training will help Erik continue his velocity gains.
NY State Open ID (January 31, 2016)
Continues to develop physically and on the mound, now standing 6-foot-2, 152 pounds the LHP has grown 3 inches and gained 15 pounds from last February's Futures Showcase. Pitching- Erik demonstrates a repeatable delivery that has improved it's pace since we last seen him. Works from a low 3/4 arm slot, featuring whip like action. FB  is up 3 MPH to 71 MPH. He sat in the 69-71 MPH range for the entire bullpen with plus movement, specifically some arm side run from both his 4S and 2S FB. Showed improved feel for off-speed with a slider that features some late lateral action (10-to-4) at 63-64 MPH. Change up had some arm side dip and dive at 60-63 MPH. Like what we're seeing here as Erik has an ideal frame and loose actions that will permit for additional velocity gains.
October 24, 2015
Dusseldorp now stands 6-foot-2, 140 pounds, up an inch from when we seen him in February. Fastball up a couple of MPH to 68 MPH with change up checking in at 61 MPH. Projectable frame with a loose arm that works from a low slot. Interesting to see how this lefty fills out and develops on the mound.
Summer 2015
Lanky LHP that can repeat his delivery. Would like to see more momentum and pace that can funnel into his arm speed. Still physically growing and may be playing catch up with his body yet. Has a feel for his change up.
Futures Showcase (February 28, 2015)
Dusseldorp stands a lean 5-foot-11, 137-pounds, with a great pitchers body.  He start tall, with his hands out front and heels over the rubber.  Uses a side step to a high knee lift.  Uses glide to stride method, with a slight breakdown of his back leg.  Smooth, easy arm motion, to a mid 3/4 arm slot.  Stride foot tends to casts out before foot strike, causing him to lose some rotation.  Good extension out front, with quick hand speed.  Velocity was (66)mph but expect that number to jump as he grows into his body.  Someone to watch in the near future
