Physical: Lean / high waisted 6-foot-2, 170-pound frame with athleticism throughout the movements and obvious projectability in the build. Alabama commit.
Pitching: LHP - Starts from the right side of the rubber with a side rocker step, medium leg lift, advanced flexibility in the arm swing with fluidity through a high ¾ slot, full arm circle, held direction well with above average hip shoulder separation, landed with explosive leg drive and slight fall off towards the third base side. FB ranged from 86-89 mph with natural arm-side run, up to 2156 rpms of spin according to Trackman Baseball. Mixed in a sharp 73-76 mph SL with horizontal plane and 2139 spin, countered with a 72-75 mph CH with low spin and deception through release being thrown with adequate sell.
A projectable lean, athletic frame at6-foot-1,155 pounds. Pitching- The LHP displayed a repeatable delivery and a loose low effort arm.Works mainly from the right side of the rubber. Takes his time to gather himself before getting into a balanced back side and working downhill. Stays balanced throughout his delivery. Shows a smooth hand separation with no wasted movement. FB has late life down in the zone. FB peaked at 83 MPH. CB is tight ranging from 68-70 MPH. Showed feel for a CH at 75-76 MPH. The 2022 graduate has tons of upside and is a must follow.
