Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.

RSi
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
The highest Edge Score within the given year. Edge Score is a comprehensive score that takes the core-six visual skills into account, providing an assessment of an athlete’s overall visual ability.
The maximum speed, in the direction of home plate, that the wrist is traveling. Measured in meters per second (m/s)
Arm Slot
Angle of the forearm relative to the ground between maximum external rotation (MER) and ball release (BR). Which can be a powerful player comparison metric, delivered in degrees.
Knee Extension Velo
The angular velocity of the front knee straightening after foot plant, which provides indicators of velocity potential. Measured in degrees per second.
Deception
The amount of time that the ball is visible to the hitter, after the instant of front foot strike. Measures in milliseconds.
Hip-Shoulder Separation
The difference in angle of between the hips and shoulders, occurring close to the foot plant. Measured in degrees.
Physical: 6-1, 158 pounds; Wiry, lean build. Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while wrist hooks behind back; high 3/4 slot. Spins off 3B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 81 MPH, while sitting 76-80 MPH; life through the zone. CB: 69-70 MPH; lands for strikes. CH: 75-76 MPH; fading action.

Physical: 6-1, 158 pounds; Long, lean build. 7.56 runner in the 60. Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride while landing closed. Long arm swing while wrist hooks behind back; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 3B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 81 MPH, while sitting 76-79 MPH; arm side run. CB: 67-68 MPH; showed depth. SL: 70-72 MPH; . CH: 71-72 MPH; maintains the same plain.
10/01/22
Physical: 6-foot-1, 155 pounds; Lean, slender build. Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly closed. Moderate arm swing while showing effortless and fluid actions; high/over the top slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 78 MPH, while sitting 75-78 MPH; arm side run with sink. CB: 67-69 MPH; 11-5 shape. CH: 72-75 MPH; runs.
6/27/22
Physical: 6-foot-1, 155 pounds; Long, lean build. 7.56 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Loads straight back with an up and down stride for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a flat swing path with a finish around the back. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 82 MPH via Trackman. Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands work through the ball with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 79 MPH. Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly closed. Long arm swing while showing effortless and fluid actions; high 3/4 slot. Upright with finish. FB: Peak velo of 80 MPH, while sitting 75-79 MPH.. CB: 69-71 MPH. SL: 59-64 MPH.
7/28/21
Physical: Lanky, high-waisted 6-foot, 155lb frame (projectable). 7.36 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, wider stance at a slightly open position. Utilized a leg-hang stride to initiate the swing through a flat, rotational path into the hitting zone. Liked to get the arms extended on pitches out over the plate in space, gaining a natural pull-side approach en route to a 27% line drive rate (via Trackman). Posted a T81 mph bat-exit velocity and hit behind the ball well on the backside, flashing some hand speed on the inner half. Developing singles power at the moment with more power/strength coming.
Defensively: The outfielder worked laterally before getting downward at the catch. Fielded with low-pulse and average pace off his right side, shifting the body in-line to the plate with a shuffle; released at an accurate H slot (67 mph arm, slight run).
Pitching: LHP - Set up off the glove side of the rubber using an offset start; got the leg lifted higher, above the waist as he generated north/south actions in the shoulders into footstrike. Fell off slightly to the third base side with a short arm-circle to a H slot. The FB landed at 70-72 mph with strike-throwing attributes, adding gradual 1/7 shape on a 62-63 mph CB (feel to spin).
