6-foot-1 175 pounds with some wiry athleticism. Controlled tempo; delivery repeats with a standard long arm swing from a 3/4 slot. Pounds the zone with some late sink and run sitting 84-86 MPH, touching 87 MPH with a frame that can hold more. Curveball worked 72-73 MPH with sweeping action and depth. Starter mold at the next level with the ability to work both sides of the plate with the FB and spot/expand the breaking ball.
6-foot, 175-pounds. Lean, athletic frame with projection. Offensively - Tall, slightly open set-up with loose hands and rhythm. Slight leg lift to square up to pitcher. Hands pull back into good hitting position near right shoulder. Stays inside of the ball with compact swing. Flashed easy power/lift pull side. Balanced, high level hitting actions. Exit Velocity was 85 MPH. Defensively - Quick and fluid footwork getting to the ball. Shows balance and body control when moving laterally. Funnels ball quickly and releases from a high arm slot. Quick arm action produces strong carry on all throws. Arm strength was 81 MPH. Pitching - Steady, balanced delivery. Keeps weight back going from leg lift into stride. Stays in line with target. Arm action is long but smooth. Good hand speed. Front side stays closed to create hip/shoulder separation. FB sat 84-85 MPH with good life and consistent control. CB showed tight spin and hard break at 70-71 MPH. CH was 75-76 MPH with late fade. Polished 3 pitch mix. Legitimate 2-way prospect for the next level.
