Average build with proportional frame at 6-foot, 175-pounds. Pitching – Smooth delivery with repeatable throwing actions. Stays balanced throughout and works with a deliberate pace. Balanced leg lift before getting into controlled forward stride. Weight stays back at hand break. Front side remains closed at landing. Long, loose arm action with high ¾ release. Exceptional extension out over front leg. Continues to show an overall quality feel for pitching.

Athletic build with size projection from the 2019 lefty. On the mound he uses a side step with a high knee lift, repeatable pace to his delivery, stays on the power line as he drives forward nice long hip stride, arm action is long and back with slight ball rotation as his arm accelerates forward, fastball peaks at 81 mph, sits it's mostly in the 78 to 80 mph range with arm side run, curveball shows loose gradual shape, would like to see more hand speed on the pitch, at times has 12-6 break at 68 mph, change up at 70 to 72 mph with some fade to the arm side.

Last Chance Preview (October 14, 2017) Firmly built at 6-foot-0, 175-pounds. Solid repeatable mechanics, belt high knee lift, long stride on plane. Arm-action is back and slightly tucked towards SS, high 3/4 release with command of both sides of the plate. Fastball tops at 81 mph with signs of more velocity in the tank. Curveball at times has 12/6 late shape upper 60's. Overall the lefty shows next-level attributes on the mound. Added velocity/hand-speed to his pitches this winter will greater increase his stock come spring.

WNY All-Star Games (September 24, 2017) Monica stands a projectable 6-foot-0, 170-pounds with a lean pitchers build. Uses sound repeatable mechanics, back long arm-swing, releases from a high 3/4 slot with a fastball sitting upper 70's, touching the 80-1 mark. Shows a curveball with late action and depth upper 60's, would benefit from more FB hand-speed on the pitch. Keep an eye on the 2019 lefty.

Campus Series - Oswego (August 15, 2017)

Monica stands 5-foot-11, 165-pounds from a lean build. Pitching- Uses a wide setup, side-step with a high knee lift. Arm-circle is clean and full, high ¾ slot with a fastball sitting 79-80 MPH with natural run. Curveball shows loose shape at 64-65, 1/6 type break. LHP with room to continue to grow as he enters his junior year. High follow.
