AJ Granger: SS/RHP, (2023) Thomas Worthington, OH. 5-foot-10, 170-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 80 mph. (55.1 mph bat speed average). (16.0 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a toe tap stride. Bat speed is quick, uses a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 75 mph; had soft hands, a clean exchange, and quick footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. Clocked a time of 7.51 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, used a consistent arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Threw his fastball 76-80 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1892; Avg 1841). His changeup (68-69) showed late action. Showed a 10/4 slider (67-70) with tight action. (Max spin 1964; Avg 1890).

AJ Granger: 3B/RHP, (2023) Thomas Worthington, OH. 5-foot-10, 148-pound. Capable at the plate, Granger had an exit velocity of 71 mph. Began in an open athletic stance with a small load, then used a toe tap. Bat speed is average and shows a level swing plane. Found some barrels during his round. Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 70 mph; has a packing exchange, soft hands, and consistent feet. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.51. Capable on the mound, had an short arm action with a ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher and shows some effort. Cutter (60-62 mph), curveball (54-59 mph), slider (66-69 mph).Threw his fastball 71-74 mph.

5-foot-10, 140-pound projectable body frame. In the infield he has fluid footwork while approaching ground balls and fields with softness to his hands, recording a velocity of 72 mph. From the outfield he has good footwork while taking good angles approaching the baseball, consistently fielding the ball to his left side. Throws with a clean arm action through a high ¾ slot, showing respectable arm strength with more to come as he continues to gain strength reaching a velocity of 71 mph. On the mound he throws with regular effort to his delivery while incorporating a good hip load which utilizes his lower half efficiently and lands in a straight line at foot strike finishing with his momentum carrying toward the plate. Has a shorter arm action with average, developing arm speed through a ¾ slot. Has good command of a two-pitch mix, fastball is mostly true through the zone ranging from 69-71 mph. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape with good depth and signs of being sharp, projected to be a good pitch as he continues to gain velocity, currently at 63-64 mph. Right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance using a toe tap as a timing mechanism, initiating his lower half and lands back to even at foot strike. His hands get to a good launch position and bat angle before he swings with a mostly level bat path through the zone finishing his swing with a two-handed follow through. Showed the ability to hit the ball to all parts of the field during his round of BP while reaching an exit velocity of 78 mph. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash.
