6/5/18 Bat is his top tool. A physical bat with enough juice to be a consistent gap threat with occasional power. Lifts the ball naturally and create backspin to both gaps. A corner type in the outfield that likely finds a home in right field. Ball skills are above average and arm has both strength and accuracy. 60-yard dash: 7.11 Infield Velocity: 75 Outfield Velocity: 83 Exit Velocity: 87
6/6/17 A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall setup. Strong kid with a fast bat. Middle of the lineup skill set. Path is slightly downhill with impressive strength through contact. Pop to both sides of the field with impressive pop to the opposite field gap. In the outfield he stays under control approaching the baseball. Stays smooth through the baseball and maintains most of his momentum into his throws. Profiles in the corner outfield. Also showed abilities on the bump that could translate to the next level. At 6-foot-4, he has the frame for the position. Works off his 79-80 mph fastball that works downhill. Was able to command the zone with the pitch. His go to secondary offering was his 11/5 shaped breaking ball. The pitch showed signs of sharpness at 68-69 mph. Had solid feel for the pitch. 60-yard dash: 7.19 Outfield Velocity: 83 Exit Velocity: 90
1/28/17
6-foot-3, right-hander that displayed a solid three pitch mix. His upper-70s fastball had substantial run at times and he showed the ability to work to either side of the plate. Breaking ball had depth to it and changeup was consistently in the zone. Starts in an open setup at the plate with his bat vertical. Creates solid whip through the zone with good barrel direction. Swing is compact and powerful. A middle of the order type guy who consistently produced line drives and showed the ability to drive the ball into the gap. From the outfield, he plays from his toes. Would like to see him more aggressive to the ball. Fields it on his glove side. Shows long arm action with some length to his transfer out of a high ¾ slot. Showed some carry to his throws.
Outfield Velocity: 83 Home to 1st: 4.21 Exit Velocity: 86
1/18/16 6-foot-2, 175-pound strong, projectable frame. On the mound the righty uses simple, repeatable mechanics with a delivery that requires minimal effort. He throws with a long arm action, from a high-¾ slot with his fastball sitting 71-74 mph. His curveball had a downward, gradual break at 64-66 mph. He threw his changeup using near fastball arm speed between 67-68 mph. At the plate he displayed very fluid mechanics and good rhythm to consistently square up balls in batting practice. Using a slightly uphill bat path he reached a top exit velocity of 80 mph. From the outfield he used smooth footwork and was able to field the ball correctly, on his glove side foot. Needs to quicken up his transfer but was able to carry momentum into his throws. From a high-3/4 slot with loose arm action he showed 77 mph arm strength to home plate. Ran a 7.81 60-yard dash.
