Body Type: 160-pound frame. Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Goes with an easy leg lift during slight back load with hands. Movements are very athletic. Hit: Swing works/looks the part in the box. Athletic kid with both strength and speed to hands. Easy burst through the zone. Used the whole field with authority. Power: 90.2 mph off the bat in BP. Offensive Projection: Run Producer. Field: At the catcher position he has quick feet with a smooth transfer. Throw: Loose and whippy arm action with developing strength. Defensive Projection: C.
6/12/19
Body type: 6-foot, 160-pound thin and athletic frame. Swing mechanics: Small leg kick that works. Keeps his hands lose and loaded. Hit: Produces above average bat speed with a level bat path, and true ball flight to the middle part of the field. Power: More pop to the middle of the field as he develops. Offensive projection: Top of the lineup guy. Field: Behind the dish, he features an open stance with quick feet. On the infield, shows fluid actions and soft hands. Solid defender. Throw: Strong arm with more in the tank, and loose arm action. Accurate on throws across the diamond with some carry through the bag. Defensive Projection: UTL. Body Type: 6-foot, 160-pound thin and athletic frame. Mechanics/Delivery: Drop and drive type delivery that requires some effort. Fastball: Fastball works out of a ¾ slot with slight arm side run at 78-80 mph. Curveball: Breaking ball has a shorter tight 11/5 break that is fairly sharp at 66-68 mph. Changeup: At 72-73 mph the changeup is mostly straight with deceptive arm action. Pitchability: Solid control of all three offerings. Breaking ball is has potential to develop into a true out pitch.

Body Type: 6-foot, 160-pound athletic frame. Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance. Hit: Liked what I saw in BP. Athletic kid with impressive natural tools. Swing works and he finds the barrel often. Natural tools allow him to swing with intent without sacrificing barrel accuracy. High follow. Talented bat. Power: 84 mph exit velocity. Destroyed balls in BP. Already shows gap abilities with much more to come. Offensive Projection: 3- hole. Run: 4.25 H-1st. Field: Also worked out at third base where he looks to have an above average skills set. Feet work well and actions are athletic. Sure-handed defender with obvious athleticism. Also recorded sub 2.0 pop times behind the dish and showed well above average arm strength. Throw: 77 mph behind the dish and 79 mph across the diamond. Defensive Projection: C/3B.
7/11/18
In the infield fields with a slightly open stance with ball skills that are on par for his age. Accurate with throws across the infield from a low ¾ slot topping out at 74 mph across the infield. A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall setup. Load is smooth and repeatable. Balanced swing on a level plane. Impressive feel for squaring up the baseball. LIne drive pop presently with more to come as strength arrives. Very efficient, athletic stroke.
In the outfield he plays under control in his approach. Plays one-handed through and get too and through the ball quickly. Mechanically efficient. Arm was accuracy with average strength. Behind the dish he has some quickness to exchange and threw with accuracy. Expect pop times to lower as he develops more quickness to feet. Solid defender in general. At the plate he starts in a tall, open setup. Loading sequence is fluid as he incorporates a double tap/smooth back load. Path is downhill and barrel gets in and out of the zone quickly. Wastes energy with down and out path/would be aided by a more level stroke. Has all the tools to do damage, projecting for much more pop than frame suggests.
