The 6-foot-2, 210-pound big, physical righty in the 2019 class has certainly by now made his name known on the recruiting front in the state of Ohio. Have seen him a bit higher from a velocity standpoint, but still has shown the ability to get hitters out with the stuff he possesses on any given day. Uses a more up tempo delivery that requires some effort. A long arm action that works cleany through a high ¾ slot. Fastball stays true through the zone at 81-85 mph. Spins a good breaking ball that has near 12/6 shape with sharp, late break at 71-75 mph. Also mixes in a changeup with some downward action at 78-79 mph. A nice 3-pitch arsenal that should play well at the next level.

A 6-foot-2, physical right-hander who sat consistently 83-86 mph, touching multiple 87’s. Shows feel on the mound, tossing three quality offerings for strikes. Brock may be a newer name for Ohio schools as he spent the past season in Kentucky as a frontline starter for the Kentucky Baseball Club.At first base he uses quick footwork off the bag, doing a nice job of creating throwing lanes with his feet. Ball skills look above average for class/position. Profiles as a solid defender. A lefty stick that has a middle of the lineup look to him. Lower half is aggressive, creating solid energy into contact. Finds plane well, showing natural loft to his swing. Showed the ability to drive the ball with authority to his pull side.

Home to First: 4.3

Infield Velocity: 84

Exit Velocity: 91

9/18/16 - Max FB: 80, FB: 78-79, CB: 63-68
6-foot-2, 195-pound RHP with a projectable frame, uses long arm action that works through a high-3/4 slot with normal effort, gets down the mound well with good extension, pounded the zone with a fastball/curveball mix, locates fastball consistently at the bottom part of the zone, curveball has 11/5break with some depth, worked two quick innings allowing one hit while striking out three (2 FB, 1 CB). Brock has potential to develop into a high-level prospect on the mound.
9/18/16 - Home-1st: 4.50, Position Velocity:  IF-74, Exit Velocity: 83
6-foot-2, 195-pound LHH starts slightly open and loads back with a slight leg kick into a mid-length stride, shows some power when everything is in sync, gets the barrel through the zone with strength generated bat speed, good round of BP with hard contact to the middle of the field. Athletic first baseman who moves well around the bag, hands are average and playable at first base, made accurate throws and turns double play well. Brock is certainly a left-handed bat to keep an eye on in the 2019 class.
A very projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 185-pounds. On the mound the righty has a three pitch mix, working through a high 3/4 slot. Fastball sat 77-80 mph with slight run. Curveball had some depth to it and used it to freeze righties. At the plate he starts slightly open and uses a leg kick to load his lower half prior to his stride forward. Hands stay simple before getting through the zone on a level path with impressive strength and batspeed. Reached a top exit velocity of 82 mph. In the infield he has average hands at this stage. Moves off the bag well and created decent angles on his double play balls. Threw across the infield with 80 mph arm strength and ran a 7.11 60-yard dash.

6-foot, 175-pound projectable frame. At first base he shows good range coming off the bag and fields the ball out in front of his body. Showed an impressive 78 mph arm strength for his age across the diamond. Left-handed hitter that is spread out and balanced. Leg kick to load and needs to get his foot down sooner to be on time. Registered 70 mph top exit velocity and ran 4.43 down the on line. On the mound the right handeder showed advanced skills for his age. Good tempo delivery that lands slightly closed. From a high-3/4 slot his fastball sat 78-81 mph with down angle. Showed a tight slider at 66-69 mph with good late break and used a knuckle ball for is changeup at 70 mph.
