Colt Florence: RHP/OF, (2026) St. Clairsville, OH. 6-foot-3, 185-pound. In the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 86 mph. (65.5 mph bat speed average). (21.5 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then used a quick stride. Has efficient bat speed, simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 78 mph; had sure hands, consistent footwork, and a natural exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.52. On the mound, used a compact arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1976; Avg 1878). His 11/5 curveball shows gradual action. (Max spin 2006; Avg 1800).
Colt Florence: RHP/OF, (2026) St. Clairsville, OH. 6-foot-2, 175-pound projectable athletic build. (63.8 mph bat speed average). (20.5 mph hand speed average). Began in a wide strong stance with a controlled active load, then used a controlled leg kick. Bat speed was quick explosive, had a short uphill swing plane and high good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Advanced in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 82 mph; has soft consistent hands, a fluid natural exchange, and in control rhythmic feet. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball to the side. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a longer arm action with a ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.4. Capable on the mound, using a longer loose arm action he showed developing arm speed from a ¾ arm angle. Stretch only type pitcher and uses some effort. Showed athletic strong balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with balanced finish. (Max spin 1908; Avg 1858).
