2/17/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Southpaw with a very projectable frame. Much cleaner delivery than we've seen from him in the past. Still has minor things to clean up down low but arm really works. High follow who college coaches will be attracted to with that frame and velo ceiling. Fastball: Filled up the zone with the offering that had some late life to it. 80-83 mph. Fastball Spin Rates: 1800-2000. Curveball: Sharp, above average offering that works on a 1/7 plane. Solid pitch. 71-73 mph. Curveball Spin Rates: 1600-1800. Changeup: Impressive pitch. Maintains arm speed on the offering that has late fading action. Pitchability: Strike thrower.

Interesting arm in the 2021 class. Very physical, projectable frame at 6-foot-4, 205-pounds. Delivery has some cleaning up to do as with most prospects at his age/length but ball comes out well with little effort. Long lever type that gets down the mound well with extension. Easy 78-80 mph heater with some arm side action. Spin a big, gradual breaking curveball on a 1/7 plane. Good feel for the breaker.

6-foot-4, 182 pound, long frame with room to add muscle. The left hander has a quick delivery to the plate and throws from a ¾ arm slot. He pushes very hard off of his back leg, landing very far down the mound while reaching far back on the fastball. His fastball has some natural run to it, busting left handed hitters in on the hands. The arm speed on his changeup was similar to the fastball and had a slight drop to it. He does a good job staying slightly closed, but tends to finish tall.At the plate he starts in a wider setup. Uses a short stride for timing, while fluidly moving his bat back to launch. Path is slightly uphill with some whip through the zone. Strength stands out. Ball gets off his bat very well, especially to his opposite field gap. Consistently drove the gap in BP.
