On the mound the southpaw shows athletic actions and a balanced delivery. Arm is long, generating above average arm speed through a near over the top slot. Fastball will work downhill at 75-77 mph, consistently pounding the lower half of the zone. Spins a 1/7 shaped breaking that plays as an above average offering when in the zone. Puts good spin on the pitch at 62-63 mph. Looks to be an offering that can put hitters away. Will throw his changeup with feel and conviction at 66-68 mph. The type of offering that should be able to produce regular weak contact. A left-handed hitter at the plate. Starts in a narrow, athletic setup. Load is smooth, going with a leg kick for timing. Barrel whips through the zone, showing feel and the ability to find plane consistently. Ball comes off well to both fields. Generates regular backspin. Consistently finds the barrel and produces line drives to both fields. Top of the lineup type guy. In game he showed the ability to handle velocity and ripped three, line drive singles. In the outfield he plays fast and with confidence. Fields two-handed through the baseball, maintaining momentum into his throws. Arm strength is above average and throws showed solid carry. On the mound the southpaw uses an average tempo into an easy leg that does not require much effort. Does a nice job creating momentum toward the plate while landing slightly closed at foot strike. Fastball comes out of a high ¾ arm slot at 73-76 mph. Shows an advanced feel for his curveball which is best breaking pitch. Shows the ability to throw to batters on both sides of the plate.
