With the 2019 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2019 Spring Team Preview: Massillon Jackson Polar Bears

Conference Record: Federal League, 12-0 (1st)

2019 Team Strengths:

  • Experienced Team

Coach Outlook: "This team returns a multitude of starters off a team that finished in the Elite 8.  The Polar Bears return one of the best arms in the 2019 class in Ohio in OSU commit Yianni Skeriotis and return one of the top players in Catcher Trey Wright (Toledo). This is team is very deep in 2019 and 2020 talent and has high expectations for the 2019 season."

PBR Outlook: Talented roster from top to bottom for coach Bill Gamble and the Massillon Jackson Polar Bears. No real weak spots has the Polar Bears ready to make a run come tourney time. Massillon Jackson will be a top 3-5 team preseason and a favorite to make it to Akron.
