2/9/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Very interesting 2020 prospect. Outfield velocity suggests there much more in the tank on the bump. Up tempo delivery with some effort. Very athletic movements and a loose arm through a ¾ arm slot. Need to see the velo jump a few more ticks to be a legitimate two-way guy at the next level. Fastball: Ball jumps out of the hand. High spin rate guy who can manipulate the top of the zone to his advantage. Fastball shows slight arm side movement at times. Fastball Spin Rate: 2070-2210. Curveball: 11/5 tilt with sharp break. Curveball shows very good depth. Fun pitch to watch with swing and miss potential. Curveball Spin Rate: 2040-2260. Changeup: Very deceptive offering. Shows late fade and is thrown with similar arm speed.
2/9/20 Position Player Hit: Athletic setup in the box. Very smooth and fluid motions at the plate. Hands are quiet until trigger. More speed than strength at the moment. Power: Line drive/gap to gap guy. Pull side power should come as he fills out. Offensive Projection: Table setter. Top Rapsodo BP Exit Velocity: 87 mph. Top Rapsodo BP Distance: 339 ft. Field: Very solid defender. Attacks the ball with intent. Footwork is clean and under control. Throw: Elite arm in the outfield. Lets it loose through a ¾ slot. Defensive Projection: CF/RF.

Wolf’s combination of arm talent and athleticism that will put D1 coaches in the stands. His position player background is obvious on the mound. A good mover on the mound that shows mobility and explosiveness down the mound. Arm is fast/really works. He was up to 86 mph but all physical signs point to more in the tank and his 93 mph outfield velocity is also a solid indication he’s going to really throw it someday. The breaking ball was one of those that had you hoping he would throw it again and again. Power pitch that comes in at 74-77 mph with near 12/6 action and big time depth. As a position guy he runs well and obviously arm plays as a big tool. Swing is athletic and will only get better as he adds strength.

Body Type: 6-foot 155 pound prospect with a smaller frame and long limbs. Swing Mechanics: Starts in a balanced setup and uses a toe tap load to initiate his weight shift. Showed an on plane bat path and kept his barrel in the zone. Overall seemed to have strong wrists and hands with good barrel control. Ball seemed to jump. Hit: Good bat to ball ability with good hands and barrel control. Power: 87 mph exit velocity. Offensive Projection: Looks the part of a top of the lineup kind of bat. Shows potential to be a gap to gap guy with good speed. Good athlete who may have more power potential. Run: 4.32 home to 1st. Field: In the outfield he showed good footwork and an ability to play through the ball both aggressively and smoothly. Had a quick arm and release. Throw: 93 mph from the outfield. Defensive Projection: Shows the athleticism and speed to be a potential center field type at the next level but seems to be productive enough with the bat and have a strong enough arm to play all three outfield spots. Good athlete who will bring both offensively and defensively versatility.

Body Type: 6-foot 155-pound athletic with room to add strength. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Quick tempo delivery, slight pause coming out of leg lift. Quick arm coming out of a ¾ slot. Requires some effort. Fastball: 84-87 mph fastball jumps out of the hand. Pitch works on a downward plane with hard run to the arm side. Curveball: 72-75 mph breaking ball has tight spin. Pitch works on a short 11/5 tilt and was fairly sharp at times. Should develop into a swing and miss pitch. Changeup: 76-78 mph changeup is a plus offering. Thrown with deceptive arm action, the pitch has late sinking action through the zone. Pitchability: Offers a true three pitch mix. Shows feel for all of his offerings. Role:Early indications say he’s a pen arm. Presently a thinner build with a lot of effort in the delivery and could have two plus pitches in the future. Adding some weight and smoothing out the intent could possible lead to starting opportunities especially with feel for three pitches.

Athleticism really shows in the outfield. Plays fast and displays impressive ball skills through fielding. Arm is accurate and grades out as a well above average tool for class. At the plate he has efficient movements prior to launch that create consistent timing and energy. Stays balanced throughout swing, balancing intent and control well. Ball jumps presently with more to come as strength arrives. Interesting follow. Athleticism really shows in the outfield. A right-handed bat that starts in a balanced stane. Fluid movements to load that create both balance and consistent timing. Level path with barrel feel for the barrel. Quick hands with some strength at contact. Line drive guy with gap abilities. Turned on the ball with authority a few times, showing pull side juice. Plays fast and aggressive in the outfield. Gets to and through quickly. Quick transfer with an accurate arm. Fringy skill set that could play at multiple spots out there.

Very athletic kid with smooth actions in the outfield. Mechanically sound with the ability to play through the ball and get excellent use out of his crow hop while remaining quick with his transfer. Threw to home plate with 75 mph arm strength. Also was impressive at the plate. Creates energy into contact through a leg kick load and aggressive stride. Batspeed is above average and showed good extension through contact. Produced consistent line drives in batting practice and reached a top exit velocity of 75 mph. Ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. On the mound he uses a smooth tempo and is able to repeat his delivery with little effort. Fastball sat 68-70 mph and he was able to use the pitch to both sides of the plate. Curveball showed gradual break with an 11/5 shape.

Evan has advanced skills for his age with a 5-foot-7, 120-pound athletic build. Was very impressive in the outfield, showing fluid actions and the ability to play through the ball. Got excellent use out of his crow hop and his throws to home plate showed carry with impressive, 77 mph arm strength. On the mound he has good pace to a delivery that requires some effort. His ¾ slot gives natural run to his 68-71 mph fastball. Curveball has gradual break to it with a 12/6 shape at 60-61 mph. His best offspeed pitch was his 62-63 mph changeup that had run/sink and was thrown using fastball arm speed. Hits with bent knees keeping using a leg lift load keeping his hands in the zone. Hit several line drives. Registered an exit velocity of 72 mph and ran an 8.01 60-yard dash.
