Gabriel Nard: SS/RHP, (2022) St. Ignatius, OH. Duke Commit, 5-foot-11, 180-pound. During batting practice, Nard's best exit velocity was 93 mph. Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed was explosive, used an upward swing plane and high finish. Athletic showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 87 mph; has rhythmic feet, a clean exchange, and next level hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.16. Athletic on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher and uses easy effort. Curveball (77-79 mph), changeup (79-81 mph).Sat with his fastball at 87-88 mph.

Swing Mechanics: Simple moves with a confident, athletic presence in the box.
Hit: Continues to impress with his ability to generate easy pop. Got around the ball a bit in BP but when he made flush contact it was the loudest BP of the day.
Power: 96 mph off the tee and off the bat in BP. Has a chance to hit for some power as he continues to fill out.
Offensive Projection: Run Producer.
Run: 4.22 H-1st.
Field: As a defender he plays with easy, fluid actions. Looks the part out there. Stays smooth throughout and can really pick it.
Throw: Arm plays as a big time tool. Ball jumps out of hand.
Defensive Projection: Multiple spots.

Body Type: 5-foot-9, 145-pound athletic frame with room to add.
Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance. Fluid, efficient load that leads to a balanced launch.
Hit: Loose, whippy swing with a ton of feel for the barrel. Easy juice to both sides of the feel. Quick hands too and heavy through. Advanced hit tool in general for class.
Power: 90 mph exit velocity. Present gap abilities and he should grow into occasional power.
Offensive Projection: 3-hole look to him.
Run: 7.21 60-yard dash.
Field: In the infield he showed functional athleticism and above average ball skills. Moves laterally with easy and times feet well. Time will tell where he ends up but with his skill set he will be an above average defender at an infield spots.
Throw: 82 mph arm strength across the diamond. Very loose arm. Ball jumps. Easy velo.
Defensive Projection: All three skill spots are in play.
Additional Comments: One of the top hit tools in his class. Good athlete with a well-rounded skill set.

High follow with a bright future. A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance. Goes with a knee pinch timing trigger during slight back load with hands. Loose, athletic swing with barrel authority through contact. Impressive jump for class. Advanced hit tool for age, offering both barrel accuracy and gap pop. In the infield he has very athletic, fluid actions. Very smooth defender in general that makes it look easy out there. Could get rid of it quicker at times but arm plays as an above average tool for class.

Promising prospect with an advanced skill set across the board. Hit tool continues to impress from the right side. Loose, athletic stroke with more pop than frame would suggest. Drove the ball all weekend. Three-hole look to him. Not a flashy defender up the middle but ball skills stands out. Looks to be able to stay up the middle. Although he has more of a position player look to him, he also showed a very clean arm on the mound and ran it up to 82 mph.

A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Uses a toe turn to get things going as hands flow to a strong launch position. Nice, level path with above average natural tools through the zone. Ball comes off well. Stroked two doubles in game. In the infield he looks fluid and athletic. Well above average skill set for class. Glove works in and out of funnel while keeping actions on the move. Very well-rounded, talented ball player to follow.

The engine that starts the Force offense. At the plate, the 5-foot-8 SS shows the ability to drive the ball to all sides of the field. He has a simple leg kick, a simple load and smooth hands. A natural feel for batting. Produces a good amount of backspin. From the SS position he shows advanced skills when moving laterally and playing through the baseball. He’s clean with his footwork, transition and throws. Solid defender. On the mound the RHP starts tall and uses a slide step to start his momentum. His motion is almost effortless, throws from a 3/4. FB has some late life at 73-76 mph and CB had depth with 11/5 break. A definite prospect to follow and watch as he matures.

A well-rounded player with a well above average skill set for class. At the plate load is very fluid, incorporating athletic movements. Launches from a balanced position and generates impressive whip through the zone with noticeable speed/strength to hands. Offers an impressive combination of feel and pop. In the infield he looked smooth, showing off well above average ball skills. Actions are fluid and mechanically sound. Looks to be a sure-handed infielder that can make the routine play and move out of his funnel to make plays on the move.
