Gavin Jennings: OF/RHP, (2026) Olentangy Liberty, OH. 5-foot-11, 155-pound. Began in a tall stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was developing, displayed a short simple swing plane and balanced finish. Gap to gap approach. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 72 mph. Clocked a time of 7.6 in the 60-yard dash. Athletic smooth on the mound, showed good arm speed, also used an over-the-top arm angle with a compact consistent arm action. Stretch only type pitcher and shows easy effort. Has a tall strong balance point and downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. (Max spin 1842; Avg 1678).
Gavin Jennings: OF/RHP, (2026) Olentangy Liberty High School, OH. 5-foot-10, 135-pound. (63.1 mph bat speed average). (20.0 mph hand speed average). Starts in a tall narrow stance with a compact load, then uses a short controlled stride. Had developing quick bat speed, short upward swing plane and high finish. Had some loud contact and found multiple barrels. Up the middle base hit approach. Smooth above average in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 77 mph; had sure soft hands, a natural clean exchange, and athletic fluid footwork. Fields the ball out front. Capable on the mound, showed consistent developing arm speed, also used a consistent long arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo stretch only type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed consistent athletic balance point and even in line shoulders. Lands square with a falling off finish. Has both sides of the plate command and slight action with straight movement. (Max spin 1640; Avg 1587). Had command around the zone and sweeping action on his 10/4 curveball. (Max spin 1820; Avg 1766). Throws a tight changeup that shows in the zone control and slight action.
