6/6/18 A right-handed bat that starts in taller setup. Hands show a slight back load during short strie for timing. Stays balanced throughout swing, showing a nice/level path to the baseball. Offers a balanced arsenal of strength and speed through the zone. Line drive type guy with more juice than frame would suggest. Squared the ball up regularly in BP. Behind the dish he showed better in game than showcase. Can block with the best of them and receives at an above average clip. No glaring deficiencies in game back there. Catch and throw abilities won’t jump of the page but are adequate. 60-yard dash: 7.34 Pop Times: 2.07-2.15 Catcher Velocity: 73 Exit Velocity: 82
2/4/18 A right-handed hitter at the plate. Starts in an open setup, getting back to even through a short stride. Hands move back at release creating both balanced and separation. Bat has some quickness to it as it travels through a downhill path to the baseball. Showed barrel feel and the ability to spray the ball to either gap. A line drive type guy in general. Solid defender behind the dish with fluid actions. Mechanically sound feet with above average exchange skills. Arm is on par for class. 60-yard dash: 7.5 Catcher Velocity: 72 Pop Times: 2.00-2.03 Exit Velocity: 81
