On the mound the right-hander works with an uptempo pace to a delivery that requires some effort. Utilizes lower half well through an efficient hip load creating energy down the mound. Lands in line at foot strike with his momentum carrying him towards home plate at finish. Arm moves through a high-¾ slot with long, clean arm action. Fastball runs slightly sitting 65-66 mph, touching 69 mph once. Located the offering well, working both sides of the plate. Worked primarily with the fastball but mixed in a few changeups. The pitch is thrown with fastball arm speed, displaying some sink at 62-63 mph. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Movements are fluid and athletic prior to swing decision. A back leg hitter that takes an uphill path to the baseball. Would be aided by transferring weight off back side to level out swing. A line drive type whose swing plays best to his opposite field gap at this stage. At first base he works off the bag with controlled footwork. Ball skills are developing as he fields the ball nicely, out in front of his body. An above average athlete for the position.
