7/06/20

Hit: Impressive BP. Advanced bat speed and rotational acceleration abilities. 80+ bat speed and near 30gs of rotation according to blast. Ball absolutely flew off his bat in BP, especially to pull side.
Power: Loft power with oppo gap pop.
Offensive Projection: Run producer.
Max BP Exit Velocity: 97 mph
Max BP Distance: 339 ft
Field: Corner skill set in the outfield. Uptempo pace with an aggressive play through and quicker release. Also worked out in the infield. Good tempo with ball skills that are serviceable.
Throw: Arm appears to be an average to above average tool.
Defensive Projection: Corner guy.

7/09/19

Body Type: 6-foot-3, 195-pound athletic frame with room to add.

Swing Mechanics: Relatively quiet load that creates regular timing and a balanced launch.

Hit: Aggressive swinger that is able to let it loose without sacrificing barrel accuracy. All fields ability with natural backspin. Talented, young bat to follow.

Power: Easy gap abilities. 89.4 off the bat in BP.

Offensive Projection: Multiple roles. A guy that will hit for average and can do damage.

Run: 4.5 H-1st.

Field: Functionally athletic in the outfield. Fluid tempo that he maintains and plays through with above average ball skills. At third base he plays with quick feet and direct routes. Nothing flashy but solid defender.

Throw: Respectable arm that projects for more strength.

Defensive Projection: Corner INF/OF.

6/11/19

Body type:  6-foot-3, 195-pound thin and athletic frame.

Swing mechanics:  Engages his entire body as he loads into his back leg.

Hit:  Level bat path that stays inside the baseball well.  Swings with a lot of intent.

Power:  Definite juice to the middle part of the field with true ball flight.

Offensive projection:  Middle of the lineup guy.
Field: In the outfield he plays with short, quick footwork in his approach. Not a flashy defender but looks to have solid ball skills. In the infield he plays with quick feet, attacking the baseball off the bat. Ball skills are solid for class. Would like to see him play a bit lower.
Throw:
Strong arm that plays in the infield or outfield.
Defensive Projection:
Corner INF/OF.

2/17/19

2/17/19

Body Type: 6-foot-2 205-pound prospect.

Swing Mechanics: At the plate he starts in a balanced set up. Uses a mini leg kick for his load. Has a slight cast of his barrel.

Hit: Good bat to ball ability and barrel control.

Power: 87 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection:
Shows some potential at the plate. Should at least develop into a gap to gap threat. Has a good frame with some upside for power potential.

Field: In the outfield he attacks the ball fairly well. He plays through the ball well and has an average release. At 3B he showed average footwork and angles through the ball. Shows a quick arm.

Throw: 77 mph from the outfield. 76 mph across the diamond.

Run: 4.71 home to first.

Defensive Projection: Presently would seem to be a better fit in the OF than the IF. Arm strength would be a limiting factor at 3B and doesn’t show the present polish to be in the middle of the diamond. Probably a corner OF type at the next level.

8/1/18
Very athletic, efficient movements in the box from the right side that create impressive energy into contact. Physical bat with a confident stroke. Showed minor path issues at times but but flies off the bat when squared. Middle type. Corner type in the outfield. Plays under control too and through the baseball. Arm shows present accuracy with average strength.

7/10/18
Physical bat from the right side. Load is simple yet efficient, path works, big time strength at contact. Run producer type who showed the ability to leave the yard in BP. Bat will play nicely in the middle of a lineup. A corner infielder with the frame for either spot. Worked out at third base on this day. Plays low, fielding the ball out in front of his body. Hands are soft and glove skills are there. Lateral mobility will likely determine which position he calls home at the next level. Also worked out in the outfield. Plays with fluidity to and confident through. Corner skill set that leans towards right field.
60-yard dash: 7.59
Infield Velocity: 75
Outfield Velocity: 74
Exit Velocity: 90

5/4/18
A corner outfielder with a physical frame. Top tool is his bat. A middle of the lineup type that has impressive raw power for class. Movements are simple and get started early prior to swing decision. Path is uphill with advanced strength to hands at contact. Ball really comes off well when he finds the barrel. Defensively, he is nimbler than frame would indicate. Moves light on his feet while covering efficient ground out there.
