8/01/18

Very impressive strength/batspeed combination at the plate. Uses a fluid leg kick for timing as bat flows through bat tip load. Uphill path allows for natural lift and barrel explodes through contact with authority. Run producer skill set. Also liked what I saw in the outfield. Moves with fluidity out there and cover a ton of ground. Big arm presently that projects for even more strength down the road.

7/10/18

A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Hands stay quiet during leg kick timing tigger. Physical bat with and in/out path. Ball jumps, showing signs of a middle of the lineup future. Path needs cleaned up a bit but the strength and  batspeed combination is well above average for class. A corner type in the outfield with a big arm. Looks comfortable and athletic out there, playing through the baseball with above average ball skills. Solid defender.

60-yard dash: 7.53
Outfield Velocity: 80
Exit Velocity: 77

5/04/18

A corner outfielder with a strong, athletic frame. At the plate he starts in a balanced setup with bat resting on back shoulder. Utilizes a slight back load with hands during his small leg lift timing trigger. Loading sequence is a bit rushed but timing wasn’t an issue in the at bats we saw. Campbell shows noticeable strength to hands with above average bat speed through the zone. The combination of natural tools and natural loft make him a constant extra base hit. Limited viewing of him in the outfield but he got a chance to show off the arm a few times which looks to be an above average tool as well.

3/04/18

5-foot-9, 140 pound infield prospect bats right handed displaying a level bat path and showed nice hand speed getting the barrel into the zone. Made contact well throughout the round squaring a couple up. Showed some nice power in his swing as well. Recorded an exit velocity of 76 mph off the tee. A rangy infielder with fluidity to his actions. Athleticism really shows on the defensive side of the ball. Showed reliable ball skills with the ability to make plays on the move. Solid defender. Athletic frame on the mound. Arm displays evident life as he uses short arm action through a high 3/4 slot. In his delivery to the plate, his fastball shows some jump out of his hand and ranged between 72-77 mph. His curveball offers some sharp 11/5 break at 58-59 mph. Changeup is still developing as arm speed tends to slow, but does show some diving action at 59-62 mph.

60-yard dash: 7.89
Infield Velocity: 76
Exit Velocity: 76
