1/22/17
6-foot-2, 195-pound prospect that projects best as a pitcher at present. The physical righty throws through a loose ¾ slot. Starts the delivery with an easy leg lift while projecting his center down the mound with minimal effort. Fastball sat 80-82 on a downhill plane. His 11/5 breaking ball showed good depth at 63-67 mph. Also showed excellent feel for a 69-70 mph changeup with late sinking action. At the plate, the right-handed hitter starts with an open stance. Tendency to wrap in his load creating some length to his swing. Uphill path to the ball with signs of pull power in his swing. Top exit velocity of 82 mph. Registered a 7.61 60. In the field, he displayed good actions. At times the feet move a little slow. Showed a quick glove but takes some time getting rid of the baseball. Has above average arm strength for his age registering a top velocity of 75 mph.
