1/21/18 - Offensively initiates swing from neutral set up with short stride staying neutral. Separation is adequate with hands working well to baseball. Mechanics and long frame combine to generate barrel whip. Benefit would be gained from more aggressive use of lower half. An 86 mph bat exit velocity was recorded.
Defensively, as OF attacks and plays through ball on ground. Benefit would be gained from heightening arm angle while staying in line and following throws.
On the mound works out of low to mid 3/4 arm angle. There was inconsistency in repeating delivery on this day. Arm action is long. Cottis strides open and opens front shoulder early.. Benefit would be gained from staying back and closed as well as connecting glove directly to front hip. FB reached 72 mph with subtle arm side run. CB at 57-60 had 11-5 shape and rolling action. CH at 54-57 is work in progress with noticeable slowing of arm.

In the outfield he looked comfortable with feel for the spot. Footwork is clean and he plays through the baseball with confidence. 9/24/17 - A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Hands move back with barrel launching from a vertical position. Lower half is fluid and allows him to be on time regularly. Path has some loft to it and he showed impressive pull side pop. Went two for three on in Game 3 with an RBI. In the outfield he uses quick, aggressive pre-fielding footwork. Plays one-handed through the baseball, showing above average ball skills. Transitions smoothly through fielding into his pro step for momentum. Arm strength is developing and throws showed accuracy. Home to 1st: 4.63 Outfield Velocity: 68 Exit Velocity: 83
1/14/17 Ran a 4.66 from home to first. In the outfield he uses aggressive footwork approaching the baseball. Varied between fielding on glove foot side and in the middle of his body. Much more efficient while fielding on glove foot side. Showed quickness to his transfer. Threw to home plate with 69 mph arm strength. At the plate he starts in a wider setup. Takes his hands back during his stride forward. Upper half and lower half get disconnected at times. Would like to see a more efficient load to sync up his body.
