7/24/18

Big time upside arm with a long limbed, 6-foot-5 frame. Low effort delivery with a long/loose arm. Fastball is heavy, working downhill at 83-86 mph. One of the heavier fastballs we’ve seen in that class. Secondary offerings will need to develop but with his frame and velocity he will get D1 attention. The splitter is the more developed of the two. The pitch was very sharp at times, especially when down in the zone at 69-72 mph. Curveball has side to side action to it at 63-66 mph.

One of the heavier fastballs we’ve seen in that class. Secondary offerings will need to develop but with his frame and velocity he will get D1 attention. The splitter is the more developed of the two. The pitch was very sharp at times, especially when down in the zone at 68-69 mph. Slider has side to side action to it at 63-64 mph. His stock will increase as the pitch sharpness up. Although ceiling is higher on the bump he also worked out as a position guy. Obvious physicality at the plate with a middle of the lineup look to him. Movements have room to clean up both strength is a big tool and ball really jumps when squared. In the infield he moves light on his feet with more athletic actions on the move. Surprising lateral mobility for size. Infield play gives good indication of his athleticism.

6/06/18

6-foot-5, 215-pound strong, athletic, projectable right-handed pitcher. Low to moderate effort in the delivery, tall and fall type lower half. Fastball works down hill out of a high-3/4 slot with slight run at 79-83 mph. Slows down the arm on 11-5 shaped breaking ball which sat 56-64 mph. Also features a splitter at 66-68 mph with tumble and sink action.
