Begins in an athletic active stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, displayed a loose uphill swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 73 mph; showed a natural exchange, firm hands, and consistent feet. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action while showing quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1958; Avg 1866). Shows some action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 1918; Avg 1918).

Started in an athletic strong stance with a quick controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, displayed a loose uphill swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 73 mph; shows firm hands, choppy feet, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.51. On the mound, showing some arm speed he had a quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 78-82 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 2238; Avg 1988). Shows a 11/5 curveball (69-72) with slight sweeping action. (Max spin 2175; Avg 2079). He shows some fading action on his changeup (75-77). He had deceiving action on his knuckleball.

Bat speed is quick, shows a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 84 mph; has consistent feet, a natural exchange, and soft hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.82. On the mound, used a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Knuckle (70-71 mph). Threw his fastball 81-83 mph. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 2055; Avg 1956). Threw a 10/4 slider (68-71) with late tight action. (Max spin 2263; Avg 2240).

Body: 5-foot-11, 245-pound sturdy strong frame.

Hit: (RHH) Solid. Started in a tall open stance with a rhythmic load, then used a leg kick. Present bat speed. High finish, short swing. Pull side aggressive approach.

Power: 95 mph exit velocity, average 87.27 mph. 72.93 mph bat speed average. 20.77 mph hand speed average. Highest at the event.

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, aggressive footwork, quick exchange.

Arm: 74 mph infield velocity. Very quick arm action, side slot, consistent accuracy.

Speed: 8.25 (60-yard).

Pitching:  Feel delivery, high effort. ¾ arm angle, quick arm speed, quick arm action. Strong balance point.

FB: T79. 77-79 mph. (Max spin 2089;  Avg 1950). Down in the zone accuracy.

CH: 70-72 mph. Down in the zone control.

SL: 62-67 mph. Some late action. (Max spin 2069; Avg 1915). 

Hit: Obvious physicality in the box. Ball absolutely jumps when squared. Turn and burn type BP, working with a pull side approach. His makes were loud.
Power: Easy gap pop.
Offensive Projection: Run producer ceiling.
Max BP Exit: 85mph.
Max BP Distance: 289ft.
Field: Solid defender over at third base. Looked comfortable over there. Above average hands with quicker feet.
Throw: Clean arm with jump out of the hand.
Defensive Projection: 3B.

Scouting Notes: Strike thrower on the mound that has feel for his entire arsenal. Works quickly and efficiently. Quality stuff for class. Live fastball with a sharp side to side slider. Slider was one of the better breaking balls we saw on the day. Changeup showed flashes elbeit in the developing stage. Fast armed prospect who should continue to add velocity.
Fastball:  74-76mph.
Fastball Spin Rates: 1950-2020rpm
Breaking Ball: SL:66-69mph.
Breaking Ball Spin Rates: 2130-2300rpm.
Changeup: 69-72mph.

Hit:Physical bat from the right side. Easy load that flows into a balanced launch. Swing generates natural whip and ball flies when squared. Launched a few to pull side.
Power:Gap to gap pop.
Offensive Projection:Middle of lineup.

Max BP Distance: 343 ft
Field:Corner skill set in the infield. Plays with direct routes and controlled feet in his approach. Hands are on par for class.
Throw:Loose arm through a mostly 3/4 slot but he will use a few different ones.
Defensive Projection: 1B/3B.

Scouting Notes:Physical presence on the mound. Easy delivery with the ability to repeat. Arm really works. A guy you could see more velocity from down the road. Fastball/breaking guy with a feel for the zone.

2/17/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Big powerful frame with a slow tempo delivery. Effortless throwing the ball to the plate. Needs to engage lower half more. Shows potential Fastball: Heavy throughout the zone at 72mph. Curveball: Drops arm slot down to side arm presenting a 10/4 break. Changeup: Slows arm speed and motion down. Little arm side fade action. 2/17/20 Position Player Hit: Right handed batter that starts out in a balanced setup. Simple, fluid loading sequence with a leg tap timing mechanism. Swings a level bat path through the zone creating natural loft. Power: Line drive power at this stage. Offensive Projection: Middle of the Lineup. Field: Ball first mentality defensively. Moves well laterally with average glove skills. Throw: short, low ¾ arm slot from third registering at 66 mph. Defensive Projection: 3B.

Body Type: 5-foot-7, 200-pounds with average physical build

Hit: The RHH starts with a small toe tap for timing. His hands have a small twitch in his load. Hands tend to drift away from body as he hits to opposite field majority of time. Backside hitter

Power: Line drive capabilities with pop

Offensive Projections: Middle of order (81 exit velocity)

Run: 8.93 (60-yard dash)

Field: From 3B he moves around well both laterally and around the base. Has average footwork as he tends to play on his heels at times. Throws from a short armed ¾ slot with decent arm strength. Has some softness in his hands at the hot corner
