2/11/18

5-foot-11 and 185-pound right-handed pitcher. Brosky works quick with regular effort in the delivery. Utilizes a chest high lift before loading the hips and creating some tilt. Arm action is short working out of a Low-3/4 slot. Fastball jumps out of the hand with slight arm side run at 84-86 MPH. Changeup has above average arm side run and works well of the fastball at 79-80 MPH. Also offered a slider at 72-75 MPH, the pitch has tight spin on a 11/5 tilt. Showed the ability to fill up the zone with all three of his offerings.

2/19/17
5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect. A talented arm in the 2018 class. The right-hander uses a fluid tempo to a delivery he is able to repeat. Creates solid energy with his lower half and lands in line at foot strike. Arm works well through a high-¾ slot. Delivery requires little effort with definite looseness to his arm. Ball comes out of his hand well sitting 84-86 mph with his fastball. Four seam was mostly straight through the zone and two seam showed heavy run without losing velocity. Spins two different breaking balls an 11/5 breaker and tight slider. Both have the look of an out pitch. The breaking ball comes in at 67-70 mph. Slider has less action but better depth and sharpness at 71-73 mph. Showed feel for a changeup that came in at 77-78 mph.  Defensively, projects as a third base type. Above average arm strength. Good carry to his throws. Winds up with his arm action which creates length to his transfer. Tendency to field the ball flat footed when hit straight on. At the plate he remains fluid throughout his swing sequence and took an impressive round of batting practice. Creates solid energy into contact and his level path gives him a large margin for error in timing. Natural tools are above average.

Exit Velocity: 86

6/15/16
Was named to our All-State Team, receiving 2nd Team honors for Division 3.

2/20/16
5-foot-10, 160-pound righty. Average, athletic frame. Quick tempo to his delivery. Good use of his lower half. Initiates his hips with inward leg kick, but needs to clean up some directional issues with his lower half. Delivery requires some effort, but generates effective 80-82 mph fastball. Throws a tight 69-71 mph breaking ball with 11/5 type action. Changeup sat at 72-75 mph with similar action as his fastball. A right-handed hitter that uses a toe-turn load to initiate his lower half while taking his hands back to his shoulder. He showed some batspeed and strength through the zone and was able to register a top exit velocity of 83 mph. In the infield he showed confidence in his glove and was able to choose the right hop most of the time. He threw accurately across the infield with 79 mph arm strength. Ran a 4.61 from home to first.
