1/30/18

In the infield he plays under control to the baseball, using quick footwork. Hands work well, fielding the ball nicely out in front of his body. Does a nice job of remaining athletic through fielding. At the plate the righty looks athletic and comfortable in the box. Pre launch movements are efficient and well timed. Finds plane well, creating early bat speed through the zone. A line drive type guy with gap capabilities. On the mound the right-hander works with a quicker tempo. Offers a three-pitch mix with the fastball sitting 74-76 mph. The pitch will show action to both sides of the plate. Breaking ball has early break while traveling on a 12/6 plane. Look for him to add depth to the offering as velocity increases. Also shows a changeup with some bite down in the zone at 64-65 mph.

9/30/17
An infield prospect in the 2020 class. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. At the plate he showcased a line drive swing from the right-side. Load is efficient as he takes hands back during his leg lift load and controlled stride. Swing is compact/level. Quick bat that produces more pop than frame would suggest. A top of the lineup type guy. A solid infielder that projects best at second base. Has some bounce out of his stance, reacting well of the bag. Feet are very quick and he changes direction with ease. Glove looks to be an above average tools. Threw across the diamond with 65 mph arm strength.

2/1/17
At the plate he starts balanced prior to his short stride. Hands move back prior to taking a downhill path to the ball. A contact type guy that was at this best to the middle and opposite field. Would be aided by a more fluid loading sequence. Does a nice job of playing low in the infield. Tends to play from heels at times. Looked more confident to his backhand than his forehand. On the mound, the right handed pitcher throws through a ¾ arm slot with short arm action. Delivery towards the plate is smooth as he offers a 66-69 mph fastball with some arm-side run. The 55-59 mph curveball spins on a gradual 11/5 plane and shows some added depth at times. Changeup features some arm-side run as well at 61-62 mph.

Infield Velocity: 71
Exit Velocity: 74
