Began in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed is efficient, has a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 78 mph; had sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent footwork. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. On the mound, showing some arm speed he used a compact arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1763; Avg 1618). Throws a 11/5 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 1946; Avg 1888). Has late action on his 10/4 slider. (Max spin 1960; Avg 1842).
