5-foot-11, 170-pound frame, lean, athletic build. At the plate, Popovich showed an Extremely quiet and short to ball approach with a workable 93 mph exit velocity. Athletic setup with a controlled load, aggressive lower half, and excellent balance throughout. Defensively, the shortstop posted a workable 79 mph across the infield with on-line and accurate throws and soft hands, pairing that with a 6.90 laser-timed 60 and quickness out of the box. High baseball IQ rounds out the profile.

Liam Popovich: SS/2B, (2026) Buckeye Valley, OH. 5-foot-8, 135-pound athletic frame. (62.1 mph bat speed average). (20.1 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a quick controlled load, then uses a toe tap stride. Had a loose swing plane, quick efficient bat speed and good extension on his finish. He barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 75 mph; had a clean fluid exchange, firm consistent hands, and in control footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a short quick arm action and uninterrupted slot with consistent accuracy to the base. Clocked a time of 7.63 in the 60-yard dash.
