Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-foot-4, 185-pounds. Long and projectable build with present strength and room for more size in the future.
Hit: RHH. Starts with a slightly open stance and athletic posture. Slow loads the weight into the back leg with hands getting set straight back with slight arm bar posture. Uphill bat path and shows some pull side pop. Lower half works linearly through the zone into a bent front leg. Does a good job of getting the lower half underneath the ball to help with matching plane. Shows some strength at contact and power potential.
Defense: Attacks the ball with shorter footwork and a feel for routes working around the ball. Fields the ball out in front of the body with soft hands a feel for glove action. Clean exchanges out of the glove and registered 81 mph from across the diamond.
Run: 5.03 runner home to first.
Delivery: Short and simple footwork around the rubber working to an easy pivot foot. Works to a mid height balance point with strong weight stack onto the back heel. Slight shoulder tilt at the top of the delivery. Hands work down around the belt and tight to the body breaking from the glove at the top of the delivery and hiding the ball well from the hitter. Strong push off the rubber into a firm plant leg.
Arm: Action: High ¾ arm slot with a short and loose arm action.
Fastball: 82-85 mph. Shows some arm side running action with ball getting onto hitters quickly with life through the zone.
