INF/RHP Bryson Deaver (Mustang, 2027) put together one of the more well rounded days of our event on the 20th of January. The right handed hitting infielder showed a simple, gap to gap approach, and was up to an 87.8 mph Exit Velocity and in the zone for an extended period as marked by his 81.9% average On Plane Efficiency. Arguably the most impressive part of his day was defensively, as the Mustang product showed advanced footwork with both quickness and direction through his target along with a feel for receiving the baseball out front. On the mound, Deaver worked into the upper 70s with carry at 23.7” max IVB. He also mixed in a curveball and changeup displaying command of both and the ability to land them in the zone. The sure handed infielder offered plenty to be excited in an exciting follow tracking his continued development.
