Defensively, confident actions, charges the ball well, high-3/4 slot, 74 mph. Embrey went 0/3 with a line out to the shortstop and two walks. One of only a few hitters to not strike out on the day.

Hits from an upright, very relaxed set-up, uses a hanging leg kick for timing, short to contact, loose hands, on time, high finish. Has a knack for finding the barrel, 80 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.97 laser-timed 60. Defensively, athletic, aggressive, and confident actions. Charges the ball well with good hands. Throws from a high-3/4 slot with some accuracy, 75 mph, some accuracy.
The recent Pittsburg State commit has a 5-foot-11, 150-pound lean frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a narrow, slightly open, and knock-kneed set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate hanging leg kick for load and timing, hands are short and very quick to the ball, bat path is flat to contact with a high finish. In BP, shows an all fields approach with some carry to the pull side, almost all barrels. Exit velo of 80 mph. Runs a 6.97 60. Defensively, shows athletic, clean, aggressive, and confident actions, reads the ball off the bat well. Throws from a high-¾ slot with a short arm action in the back, 78 mph with accuracy.
